Showcasing Research Excellence- Promoting Active Learning and Engagement through Dissertation Poster competition
Poster competitions have emerged as a pivotal tool in fostering research skills, critical thinking, and academic communication among students. These competitions provide an engaging platform for students to showcase their research findings, learn from their peers, and gain valuable feedback from experts in the field. These events highlight the high-quality research being conducted by students, attracting attention from the broader academic and medical communities.
MLDMHI organized a dissertation poster competition on 5th July 2024 where in students were given clear guidelines on the competition's expectations, including format, content, and evaluation criteria.
Honorable Judges who graced the occasion were:
Dr Swanand Narayan Shukla- Professor in Department of Community Medicine- Motiwala Homeopathic Medical College and Resource person for basic and advanced Research Methodology of MUHS Nashik.
Dr. Rakesh Gupta- President at Satva Charitable Sanstha and Satva Homoeopathy, Head of Department-Forensic Medicine, C.M.P Homeopathic Medical College, Mumbai.
Dr. Shama Rao- Head of Department and PhD guide- Practice of Medicine- Dr. M. L. Dhawale Homeopathic Medical College, Palghar.
Dr. Sunita Nikumbh- Head of Department and PhD guide- Department of Psychiatry- Dr. M. L. Dhawale Homeopathic Medical College, Palghar.
Dr. Nikita Mehta- Junior Homoeopathic Consultant and Assistant Professor- Department of Pediatrics- Dr. M. L. Dhawale Homeopathic Medical College, Palghar.
The competition consisted of 2 rounds:
In the first round, 6 students were selected and they proceeded further with round 2.

The second round was conducted where out of the above 6 students, 4 students received the prizes in the name of Dr. Kumud Mantriji. All participants received the Certificate of participation.

1st Prize- Dr. Vibhuti Poyarekar- cash prize of 4000 rupees
2nd Prize- Dr. Samiksha Yawale- cash prize of 3000 rupees
3rd Prize- Dr. Neha Waghade- cash prize of 2000 rupees
